In May 2016, to honor retiring former GTU academic deans Judith Berling and Arthur Holder, the GTU established the Judith Berling and Arthur Holder Fund for Interreligious Education. A donor wishing to remain anonymous made a generous gift of $16,000 to initiate this fund, with the hope that others would want to contribute as well. The fund will be used to enhance interreligious education at the GTU though special projects, research, guest lectures, consultations, courses, and other activities.
Your gift to the Berling-Holder Fund for Interreligious Education is a way to recognize and honor the exceptional contributions that both Judith and Arthur have made to the Graduate Theological Union, and to continue the spirit of interreligious engagement that has characterized the work of these two exceptional scholars.
