Randi Wren (GTU MA student in Jewish Studies) will speak on her research in commemoration of the signing of the United States Constitution in September 1787.

Judging Faith Workshop: An International Dialogue on the Jurisprudence on Religion in Courts

How do American and European courts confront the problem of reconciling secular democratic principles with increasingly assertive faith identities? The aim of the workshop is to bring together a small group of distinguished judges, scholars and advocates to discuss the tensions between faith-based practices and secular ideals.

Annual Book Sale, Monday, September 30

Monday, September 30, 2013 - 10:00am to 3:00pm

The Flora Lamson Hewlett Library's annual book sale will be held in Henry Mayo Newhall Plaza from 10 am to 3 pm on Monday September 30.

Books will generally be $2.00 for hard covers and $1.00 for paperbacks. Some books may be priced slightly higher.

The books are received over the previous year from gift donations. Each year the sale is held on or near the feastday of St. Jerome, the patron saint of libraries.

The GTU library is extending its current exhibition,  The Life and Times of Edith Stein, St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross: An Archival Exhibit , thorugh February 28, 2014. The exhibit opened on October 1.
