Asia Project Fall Forum: New Voices of Asia and Oceania

Thursday, October 20th 2016, 12:30pm

This forum will be a place where doctoral students present their work on Asia/Oceania-related issues. The event is open to the public, and free lunch (delicious Asian cuisine!) will be provided. All GTU students and faculty interested in the Asian and Oceanic culture and religion are invited. Please RSVP to asia-project@ses,gtu.edu by Monday October 17.

Presenters:
Sungho Lee, “Becoming Human Through Relationships.”
“An Asian perspective of relationality in terms of tri-relations between heaven, earth, and human could provide a philosophical benefit. . . . I also draw a promising subject of Asian theology: How non-human animals have been reflected in Asian cultures, religions, and imaginations?”
Chaitanya Motupalli, “Climate Change, Intergenerational Justice and Restorative Justice.”
“I am using restorative justice approach to address the needs of the future generations in the light of climate change.”
