Dr. Christopher Veniamin, a prominent Orthodox Patristics scholar, will give a public lecture at the Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:30pm, entitled "Theosis: The Orthodox Understanding of Salvation in St. Silouan the Athonite and Elder Sophrony of Essex." The evening will start at 6:00pm with the Divine Liturgy in the PAOI chapel, followed by dinner before the lecture begins at 7:30pm.
