Mining the Collection: Finding Meaning in the Mess

Tuesday, June 9th 2015 to Friday, August 28th 2015

Please come enjoy, contemplate, and experience the interactions of this exciting collaborative exhibit. Judith Selby Lang and Richard Lang will contribute pieces from their collection, which bring attention to the problem of plastic pollution through colorful and sensitive artwork created from these plastic remnants. The Langs will also work with Badè Museum curators to explore & select pieces for display from the Museum's Iron Age Tell en-Nasbeh collection, from which we we have a legacy of pottery sherds and ceramic figurines. Together, these pieces of old and new will offer the opportunity to reflect upon what we choose to leave behind as our own legacy.

There will be an exciting opening reception on Tuesday, June 9, 5-7pm

Location: Doug Adams/ Badè Museum of Biblical Archaeology, 1798 Scenic Avenue Berkeley, CA
Time: Open to the Public on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 10am-3pm
