Two ABSW classes of students across the GTU want to offer a combined presentation of Spoken Word and Performed Word for their colleagues and friends. What better way to end the Fall Semester!!
The Spoken Word portion of the evening emanates from Dr. Valerie Miles-Tribble's Fall class, "Womanist Ethics of Survival: Lyrical Lens of Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and Jill Scott." Performing the Word emanates from visiting professor Rev. Donald Schell's class, "Perform, Proclaim, and Pray the Word."
Two very different ways to creatively reflect on faith! The Dec 15 presentation at 7pm-9pm will be held in the ABSW Chapel, 2606 Dwight Way, Berkeley, and refreshments will be served!
