Friends of GTU
Welcome, Visitors and Friends
Join us at the crossroads. In a world where religion often divides people, the Graduate Theological Union is a pioneering ecumenical and interreligious community. Since 1962, we have been reaching across academic and religious divides through teaching and research, ministry, and service. Today the GTU is a center of interdisciplinary scholarship addressing the most urgent needs of our time, where people from all walks of life come together to explore ideas that can change our world.
Our public lectures and special events bring you face to face with leading theologians and GTU students, who are learning to forge creative models for interreligious collaboration.
Our speaker series will expand your exploration of profound questions and connect you with others who are passionate about issues.
Through special liturgies and festivals, you learn about great religious traditions in depth and the places where sacred meets secular in art, ecology, science, and society.
We invite you to get involved with the GTU!
