Coming to a Theater Near You!
The much lauded TV series on cosmos, consciousness and God — Closer To Truth — is being made into a feature-length documentary, Into God. It will explore issues of universe, brain/mind, religion, meaning, and purpose through intimate conversations with leading scientists, philosophers, scholars, theologians and creative thinkers — including Robert Russell, GTU’s Ian G. Barbour Professor of Theology and Science, and Founder and Director, The Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences (www.ctns.org). Stay tuned for more details about release date and distribution. Dr. Mia Mochizuki has been awarded a Ryskamp Fellowship

by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. As part of her project — The Netherlandish Image Abroad, 1543-1639: Art, Religion and Economics in the Early Modern World — she’ll study Netherlandish prints brought to Japan by the Jesuit mission. She is GTU Core Doctoral Faculty, Assistant Professor, and Thomas E. Bertelsen, Jr. Chair of Art History and religion at the Jesuit School of Theology.
