Faculty Directory

The Graduate Theological Union has the largest theological faculty in the United States, including renowned experts in Christian spirituality and homiletics as well as in numerous other areas-from Biblical studies to ethics and social theory. Its unparalleled depth of faculty and course selection creates a dynamic intellectual community that draws scholars from around the world.

Other Study Options

Prospective students who are not certain which degree program best suits their interests, or individuals who may have missed an application deadline and want to begin course work, may apply to one of the member schools or to the GTU for special student status.

Individual member schools also offer Certificate programs designed for students who want to explore theological study for a year before embarking upon a degree program. For some this is for a discernment opportunity, for others a way to enhance learning.
