Over time the Graduate Theological Union and UC Berkeley have confirmed their relationship by developing three kinds of programs for cross-registration that reflect the mutual respect which they have for each other and that create extensive opportunities for the exchange of ideas, enriching both the UCB students and the students in the GTU community.

The following is the agreement between Holy Names University (HNU) and the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) as of February, 1998:

For purposes of this statement, students will include only those individuals who are or have been enrolled in the doctoral program, the Master of Arts in Islamic Studies, the Master of Arts in Jewish Studies, the certificate program in Jewish Studies, or as a GTU special student (i.e. GTU unclassified student). Common M.A. students are governed by the policies of their school of affiliation.

School Registrars

Every student in the GTU has the right of access to all courses without regard to sex, ethnic origin, religious affiliation, age, or disability. Should a classroom be inaccessible because of a mobility handicap, please notify the GTU Consortial Registrar, John Seal (510/649-2462), or your registrar immediately so that the room assignment can be adjusted.
