The GTU’s Interreligious Chaplaincy Program recently hosted a group of scholars from the Iraqi Kurdistan Friday Prayer Council for an open discussion about religious minority expression in the US, dismantling anti-Muslim prejudice, and other key issues. The visit was organized by Dr. Kamal Abu-Shamsieh in collaboration with the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. 

The GTU's Madrasa-Midrasha Program is pleased to announce summer research grants ranging from $250 to $1000 to support GTU students working on interreligious projects related to Judaism and/or Islam. These grants are made possible through the generosity of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund, which has supported the Madrasa-Midrasha Program since its inception in 2008.  

In late September, the GTU welcomed the Taube Family Foundation to North Berkeley to celebrate and commemorate the Foundation’s partnership with the GTU, which has spanned more than two decades.
