Matthew Hartman is currently working on a PhD in Ethics at the Graduate Theological Union where he focuses on the intersection of religion, culture, and the environment. He is Co-Chair of the Ecology and Religion program unit for the American Academy of Religion-Western Region, and the Copy Editor for the Berkeley Journal of Religion and Theology.
