2012 Distinguished Faculty Lecture

James NoelDr. James Noel, H. Eugene Farlough, Jr. Professor of African American Christianity at SFTS will deliver this year’s Distinguished Faculty Lecture entitled “Black Religion in the Atlantic World During the Age of Revolution: Excavating the ‘Sublime.’”

Dr. Naomi Seidman, Koret Professor of Jewish Culture and Director of the Richard S. Dinner Center for Jewish Studies (GTU) will be the respondent.

The lecture will be held in the Chapel of the Great Commission, Pacific School of Religion, 1798 Scenic Avenue, Berkeley, and will be followed by a reception in the Badé Museum. The reception is co-sponsored by CARE and is held in conjunction with the "Sunday Spirit" exhibition in the Doug Adams Gallery.
