DSPT Symposium on Evangelism

Friday, January 27th 2017 to Saturday, January 28th 2017

What is Important to Know for Evangelization in our Culture? Over 20 distinguished experts from a variety of fields of human endeavor will come together for a robust 2-day symposium that will provoke insights into faith, learning, and culture while helping inform current contexts of the preaching mission of the Dominican Order. The Symposium – part of the Annual Convocation of the College of Fellows – is entitled “The Stewardship of Knowledge and Evangelization in Our Culture: Multi-disciplinary Perspectives”. Perspectives represented include Scripture, Theology, Philosophy, Education, the Arts, the Sciences, Economics, Business, Law, Governance, Charitable Ministries, Technological Innovation, and History. Held Friday and Saturday, January 27-28 at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, 2301 Vine Street, Berkeley. Participants are invited to Mass and a casual dinner Friday evening.
