Online,

Join Dr. Iyad Abumoghli of the United Nations' Environment Programme's Faith for Earth Coalition and a panel of experts, including Dr Carlos Zepeda, Assistant Director of Policy and Practice at the Laudato Si’ Research Institute, and Chair of the Faith for Earth Steering Committee at UNEP, and Maureen Goodman, Programme Director for the Brahma Kumaris, UK, and BK representative at the UN, for a live discussion of the role of faith actors in contributing to multilateralism, particularly in regards to the triple planetary crisis (climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss). The discussion between our experts will be followed by a live Q&A session with the audience.

This GTUx Live event is one of many across the world in support and preparation for the sixth United Nations Environment Assembly, taking place from the 26th of February to the 1st of March at the UNEP headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. The Assembly itself will be centering strategies for how multilateralism can help tackle the triple planetary crisis, with contributions from world governments, civil society groups, the scientific community, and the private sector.
