An online learning environment can differ from a face-to-face learning environment in significant ways. As a result, an effective online course syllabus may not be structured the same as a syllabus for an in-class course. This workshop provides strategies for creating a course syllabus that is conducive with the realities of asynchronous and synchronous online learning. This workshop will also discuss ways to revise an existing in-class course syllabus to an online course syllabus.
