Zotero Workshop

Dates:
Tuesday, April 11, 2017 - 12:30pm

Face-to-face workshop: Tuesday April 11th @12:30pm in the Collaborative Learning Space (formerly the Library Teaching Lab)

Online workshop: Wednesday April 12th @ 2pm in YouTube.

All library workshops are free and open to all! No RSVP required.

Please bring your own laptop to the workshop. We recommend downloading and installing Zotero standalone and the browser extension before the workshop to save time. Visit www.Zotero.org to download.

If you need help downloading or installing Zotero, or do not have your own laptop and would still like to attend, please email us at library@gtu.edu or visit the reference desk.

Wait, what’s Zotero? It’s free citation management software that can organize research for multiple projects with multiple formats (books, articles, webpages, and video). It integrates with Microsoft Office and Open Office, and can create an alphabetized bibliography in your choice of style, including Turabian.

Questions or Comments: contact the reference librarians in the GTU Library, call 510-649-2501, chat us, or email us at library@gtu.edu

Can't make it? Ask the reference desk for one-on-one help with your zotero questions.

Note for online participants: The live workshop will have a chat box to ask your questions, and you won't need additional downloads to view the workshop. Closed captioning is not available in YouTube's live streaming events, but becomes available after the recording is posted.

Here is a flyer if you'd like to display or distribute to your students or colleagues.
