This will be in preparation of developing public programs, pedagogical strategies, and academic curricula concerning the study and teaching Islamic art and aesthetics.

Congratulations to Carol Bier who has submitted an article, "The Suzani Collection of Doris Duke at Shangri La in Honolulu, Hawai'i," for a multi-volume work on Uzbek art in foreign collections. The series will be published in Uzbekistan, in English, Russian, and Uzbek.
