GTU Adopts 100% Remote Learning Format for Spring 2020

March 17, 2020 - Berkeley, CA

In response to the March 16, 2020, “shelter in place” order affecting residents across the Bay Area including Alameda County, the GTU has announced that all campus buildings are closed to the public through April 7. This follows the Friday, March 13, announcement that all in-person classes at the GTU have been shifted to remote learning modalities for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.

The GTU is committed to helping ensure the safety and health of its students, faculty, staff, and extended community, while minimizing the disruption to the academic progress of our students. For more details regarding the GTU's prevention and response efforts related to novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as well as services available to students, faculty, and staff, visit our dedicated webpage at gtu.edu/covid-resources. This page includes sections on Health & Safety, Campus Operations, Academic Resources (Faculty & Students), Library Services, Staff Resources, Travel Guidelines, and Event Guidelines, as well as two recent letters from Dr. Uriah Kim to the GTU community. The page will be updated regularly as the situation evolves.
