GTU Mourns the Loss of Ibrahim Farajajé

The GTU is saddened to share the news of the death of Dr. Ibrahim Farajajé, a long-time professor at Starr King School for the Ministry and a member of the GTU's core doctoral faculty. Copied below is an announcement sent out to the SKSM community by President Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt. All of us at the GTU mourn his passing and send sympathy to his family and colleagues.

Professor Marc Ellis will present his latest book, The Heartbeat of the Prophetic, which is a collection of his personal reflections on the deepening exile of Jews of conscience who embody the prophetic. Marc Ellis is an internationally renowned scholar and is the retired University Professor of Jewish Studies at Baylor University.
