"Welcoming Experience, Passion, & Vulnerability: A Pedagogy of Flipped Scripts" Dr. Ashley L. Bacchi

Dr. Bacchi, Assistant Professor of Jewish History & Ancient Mediterranean Religions at SKSM, will discuss how Wo/men’s Studies in Religion invites us into active listening & dialogue which can help create more inclusive and justiceseeking methodological approaches by welcoming experience, passion, & vulnerability into the classroom. She will share her intersectional feminist pedagogical approach which centers on literary, historical, & cultural contexts to support students in creating their own flipped scripts.
