Reclaiming the Embodied Spirituality of Jewish Women: A Seminar with Rabbi Tirzah Firestone

Tuesday, April 16th 2024, 3:00pm to 4:00pm
Online,

Rabbi Tirzah Firestone will be a guest speaker in Sam Shonkoff's seminar "Embodied Theology in Jewish Tradition," and we want to open up this special session (virtually) to the broader public! In preparation, students in the course will read the first five chapters of Rabbi Firestone's book The Receiving: Reclaiming Jewish Women’s Wisdom (San Francisco: HarperCollins, 2004), and all additional guests for this program are encouraged but certainly not required to do so as well.

Registration for Zoom

Please note: This is event is associated with a GTU course. Attendees will be welcomed as "auditors"—i.e., listeners—so enrolled students will have priority for asking questions and driving discussion in the program.
