The GTU Commencement occurs once a year in May and is open to GTU graduates and their loved ones. The event abounds with academic regalia, a few speeches, and time to introduce each graduate to the community. The graduate also receives a diploma and is invested in the hood of their degree.
This year the commencement celebrations will take place on Thursday, May 11, from 4 to 6 pm, at the First Presbyterian Church located at 2407 Dana St., Berkeley, CA. The graduation ceremony will also be live streamed on the GTU's Youtube channel. Watch the live stream here.

The Telegraph and Channing Garage is located at 2450 Durant Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704, across the street from the 2423 Channing Way arch! Guests will walk down Channing Way to 2407 Dana and enter the sanctuary there.
The UC Berkeley Ellsworth Parking Structure is located at 2312 Channing Way Berkeley, CA 94704. Parking is $2/hr. This lot is a 1 1/2 blocks away from 2407 Dana.
