An Interfaith Community Grief Ceremony
Presented by students from the GTU Interreligious Chaplaincy Program

Tuesday, Dec. 15 – 9:45 am Pacific Time

To mark the final day of our 16-week Spirituality and Bereavement class, and to honor the losses that so many have experienced due to Covid, our students are hosting a community grief ceremony. We will share songs, readings, rituals and sacred practices from a variety of spiritual traditions to help us focus on healing and restoration during these difficult times.

ZOOM:       https://zoom.us/j/91082044200

Please bring a candle to light as part of the ceremony. You may also want to bring a personal symbolic item that represents your spiritual journey. This could be a photo of a departed loved one, an ancestral object, a religious symbol… anything that you’d like to include in your sacred space during the ceremony.
