The library is hosting two candidates for the position of Head of Collection Development.
What does the Head of Collection Development do?
He or she will select the books! Print books, e-books, but also our journals, databases, DVDs, and anything else you might use at the library for your research.
You are invited to hear the candidates speak on the following topic:
Tell us how you would create a concrete plan for assessment of our collection. What would your steps be to determine the strengths and weaknesses?
·Candidate 1 will present on Thursday May 24th at 9:30 am
·Candidate 2 will present on Tuesday May 29th at 9:30 am
The 30-minute presentation will be followed by a 30-minute open Q&A session. This position is critical for our library and we are excited to have two qualified candidates for you to meet.
After the Q&A session, we will have a short form for you to submit your feedback.
The Collaborative Learning Space is the large glass room on the main level of the library.
