The GTU is proud to present Berkeley’s first sacred world music festival, ResoNation: Sacred Sounds Beyond Borders, on September 21-22, 2019.
The weekend event include an evening concert on Saturday, September 21, at 7:30 featuring a cast of internationally known artists and a community music day on Sunday, September 22, from 1:00 - 5:30, with a range of partipatory workshops.
Performers at the Saturday concert will include the Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble, Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, Parvathy Baul, Mahsa Vahdat, and the Qadim Ensemble with Miriam Peretz.
